PRACTICE TIMES

MONDAY

5:55–7:15pm * – Mite 1/Mite2/Squirt 1
7:25–8:45pm * – Squirt 2/Peewee 1/Peewee 2

*We are changing the Monday Practice Times beginning Mon. Nov, 7th. This change falls in lines with the goals of the travel house program and USA Hockey’s development model. These practice times will allow the players to be on the ice longer and gain more time to work on skill development. The focus will be on keeping players moving through drills and stations to maximize instruction and repetitions.

If there is concern the younger players may be on the ice too late, it is acceptable for those players to still attend just 50 minutes of practice.

TUESDAY

7:45–8:35pm – Bantam/Peewee 1

THURSDAY

5:30–6:20pm – Mite 1/Mite 2
6:30–7:20pm – Squirt 1/Squirt 2
7:30–8:30pm – Peewee 2/Bantam

LETTER TO PARENTS:

Welcome to the Park District of Oak Park Travel Hockey Program. This program works to provide a recreational hockey atmosphere as well as to prepare skaters for higher levels of hockey. Our goal is to provide a positive atmosphere for all participants while focusing on sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. This program has grown in the past couple years and therefore we would like to remind participants of the following policies to make this season the best yet.
